Tineco A11 Hero and Tineco A11 Master Features and Specifications

Tineco A11 Hero and Tineco A11 Master are powered via 2500 mAh lithium ion battery and are rated at 450 watts.

Suction power is excellent, and both units are providing 120 Air Watts of suction.

Operating time depends on the used suction mode. In Normal mode, using one fully charged battery, Tineco A11 can operate up to 30 minutes and in Max suction mode, Tineco A11 can operate up to 7.5 minutes.

Since both Hero and Master vacuums come with two batteries, their operating time is up to 60 minutes in Normal mode and up to 15 minutes in Max suction mode, using non-motorized cleaning attachments.

Tineco A11 Hero/Master are designed as convertible vacuums and can be used as lightweight stick cordless vacuums and as powerful handhelds.

Conversions is done quickly and easily, allowing them to be used as both main vacuums even in larger homes and apartments and as emergency vacuums, which can be very important for people with pets and kids.

The handheld body of Tineco A11 weighs just 3.26 lbs (1.48 kg), while actual weight of accessories varies. Regardless of it use, Tineco A11 is lightweight unit that can be used by elderly people and even kids (kids under supervision of adults, of course).

Dirt cups are transparent and their capacity is 0.6 liters, which is enough for most cleaning tasks.

Dirt cups feature bottom emptying system, enabling the user to empty the dirt cup directly into the trash can.

Note: Tineco A11 Hero/Master are simple to use and maintain vacuum cleaners. But, just in case, before the very first use, be sure to thoroughly read the manual.

tineco a11 battery

One of the interesting features of Tineco A11 vacuums is Dual Charging Powerhouse which is used for charging both batteries at the same time and for storing the vacuum cleaner and all of its attachments.

Note: Tineco A11 comes with smart battery charger, allowing the batteries to be left indefinitely in the battery charger.

Main differences between Tineco A11 Hero and Tineco A11 Master are in the color and the list of available attachments.

tineco a11 master in the box

Both Tineco A11 Hero and Tineco A11 Master come with: Multifloor Motorized Brushroll with LEDs, Mini Power Brush, Crevice Tool, 2-in-1 Dusting Brush, Hair Cleaning Tool, Filter Cleaning Tool, and Spare Pre-Filter.

Tineco A11 Master also comes with Bare Floor Soft Roller Brush, Soft Dusting Brush, Flexible Extension Hose, Flexible Multi-Angle Wand, and Long Flexible Crevice Tool.

Personally, the cleaning tools and attachments that come with Tineco A11 Hero are more than enough for most homes and apartments, except many homes with large bare hardwood floors which can benefit significantly from having Bare Floor Soft Roller Brush.

Note that Bare Floor Soft Roller Brush comes only with Tineco A10/A11 Master models, but if required later, it can be ordered separately.

Also, Tineco A10&A11 Accessory Kit can be ordered later and it comes with Soft Dusting Brush, Flexible Extension Hose, Flexible Multi-Angle Wand, Long Flexible Crevice Tool and nylon storage bag.

Multifloor Motorized Brushroll vs. Bare Floor Soft Roller Brush

tineco a11 cleaner heads

Multifloor Motorized Brushroll is optimized for cleaning various floor types, including bare floors. However, it is optimized for cleaning carpeted areas and removing deeply embedded dust, hair and other dirt.

Bare Floor Soft Roller Brush (comes only with Tineco Master models, by default) features soft roller which is very gentle and can be used for vacuuming sensitive wooden floors - if you have really sensitive wooden floors, just in case, test it on a small area.

Both Multifloor Motorized Brushroll and Bare Floor Soft Roller Brush are not maintenance free cleaning tools and periodically they must be cleaned from tangled pet and human hair, lint and fibers.

Also, both Multifloor Motorized Brushroll and Bare Floor Soft Roller Brush features strong LED lights, which are very helpful when vacuuming in low light conditions, like under beds and sofas - and low profile of these cleaner heads allow the user to clean such awkward areas.

Tineco A11 Air Filtration

Tineco A11 air filtration system is based on cyclonic action and two mechanical air filters.

Both pre-motor air filter and post-motor air filters are washable, but since both Tineco A11 Hero and Master models feature Filter Cleaning Tool and additional pre-motor air filter (also known as just 'pre-filter') this filter should be cleaned using Filter Cleaning Tool.

tineco a11 hepa filter

Also, post-motor air filter is labeled as HEPA air filter, but Tineco doesn't state actual HEPA grade of this filter. Nonetheless, air filtration is good.

Post-motor air filter is washable using cold running water. After washing, it must be thoroughly dried for at least 24-36 hours. Never use the unit with wet filters or no filters at all. This can void 2-year limited warranty of the Tineco A11 vacuums.

After some time, both pre-motor and post-motor filters have to be replaced. New filters can be ordered online, when required.

Tineco A10 vs A11 Cordless Vacuums

Main differences between Tineco A10 and A11 cordless vacuums are:

- A10 units use 2000 mAh batteries, while A11 vacuums use 2500 mAh batteries.

- despite larger batteries, A11 vacuums don't have much longer operating time due to the stronger suction motors: A10 are rated at 350W, achieving 110 Air Watts in Max Mode, while A11 are rated at 450W, providing 120 Air Watts in Max Mode. Nonetheless, in Normal Mode operating time on the single battery, using non-motorized cleaning tool, A10 can operate up to 25 minutes, while A11 can operate up to 30 minutes. In Max Mode, A10 can operate up to 7 minutes, while A11 can operate up to 7.5 minutes.

- A10 features 0.4 liters dirt bin, while A11 features 50% larger dirt bin (0.6 liters).

- Although both units features indicator lights that are turned off when the battery (batteries) are fully charged, Tineco states only for the A11 models that the batteries can be left in the charger after being fully charged - they say nothing for the A10 batteries. Thus for safety reasons, unplug the A10 batteries after they are fully charged.

- Tineco A10 Hero Cordless Vacuum is the only model that comes with the single battery. But, if required, batteries can be ordered later, too.

Another very important difference is in the list of available cleaning tools, which is given in the table.

Note: the list of available attachments may vary over time, just like other features and specifications.
